what's your WHy?
it's your time to shine!
I believe that students who create a digital display to showcase who they are, get to know themselves better. Students that create an ePortfolio in high school will discover who they are as they create their site. They will see themselves as others view them! This in turn, helps them to analyze and display their skills, talents, accomplishments, past experiences, goals and connections, along with their creativity. As the project is introduced students will have the opportunity to view teacher created ePortfolios. As Simon Sinek says, "People don’t buy WHAT you do they buy WHY you do it. WHAT you do proves what you believe!"
Students will be empowered as they work in a NON-TRADITIONAL environment! Working and discussing a topic they love - SELF!
As students develop their own website to reflect who they are, they will have choices in setting it up and what information to add. Working and collaborating with classmates will help them to enhance communication skills, relationships, build self-confidence, and appreciate differences, to name a few. As students recognize true ownership of their ePortfolio, a sense of excitement, pride, and motivation will be cultivated. Once that happens they will be inspired and digitally adept.
Let's prepare our students for life!

Klein students will graduate with a “living resume” to present to potential employers or colleges. In addition to having a Digital Display to represent themselves on their life-journey, they will be skilled in making changes as they evolve and grow.
I believe students that learn how to grow will continue to grow indefinitely.

why?
I believe students should create a display to showcase who they are as they traverse high school and begin the journey to adulthood.
HOW ?
In order to create this digital display in a significant learning environment (CSLE)fa, students will be empowered by using the COVA (Choice, Ownership, Voice, Authentic Learning) approach to showcase their skills and personality.
WHAT?
Klein students will become adept at creating their self-made, continually evolving ePortfolio to display their accomplishments and continual progress throughout their life-journey in this digital world.
