Innovation Plan

I have always been a proactive individual, and I am always ready to learn and address any new things or challenges that arise. Hence, with the rise of the use of technology in various places and schools, I wanted to learn how I can incorporate technology into my teaching space to help my students learn better. With this need in mind, I was prompted to take this course, which I felt would adequately cater to my needs and equip me with digital learning tactics. However, as I indulged more into the course, I was required to create and come up with something that I could implement in my class. I quickly had an idea of bringing together traditional and online learning to allow my students to have the best of both worlds.

Dear Mr. Hensley,
Klein Oak High School has continually been one of the best performing schools in the city, and the school aims to incorporate technology into the teaching system to improve results. The Developmental department has been typical in the school, students have continually displayed average results and relaxed behavior. This makes me wonder how the students would perform if blended learning called for the incorporation of effective use of technology in the typical learning environment. Students with special needs are a critical part of society today, and utmost attention and care should be taken to help them to perform better at school. Blended learning has proven repeatedly to be successful in helping students with special needs because they tend to get irritated faster; hence giving them a chance to experience blended learning.

Zwink Elementary Blended Learning
There has been an increase in the utilization of blended learning due to the advantages that come in handy with the online and traditional teaching methods (Poon, 2014). Prior studies by Edward et al. (2018) have indicated that learning engagement and experience through implementing the blended learning model is experienced. This is because blended learning always significantly affects the teaching mode and the learning awareness of the learners.

Contribution to my Learning

ADL has been one of the courses that
I probably think will be the most memorable
and course t me. Because I did not think that
I could finish it successfully. As a teacher,
it seemed weird and tricked for me to sit
down, research, do assignments, among
many other things. I had a negative attitude
towards the course upon starting it and doing a couple of tasks. I became very excited, and I enjoyed the course so much and the experience that came with it, like making new friends. Not only have I acquired information about how to better students' lives, but I have also acquired skills in using technology which is the modern norm.
